PAUL "SWEDE" OLSON

Memorial Graveside Services for Mr. Paul "Swede" Olson, 93, of Kilgore will be held 10 A.M. Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007 at Lakeview Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jim Kennedy officiating. Mr. Olson passed away Sunday in Kilgore.

Paul Olson was born Nov. 26, 1913 in Oberon, North Dakota, son of the late Einar and Anny Olson. Mr. Olson worked for Lockheed Aircraft Company in California and helped build the B-17 and P- 35 airplanes for the military. Mr. Olson moved to Kilgore in 1952, and worked for Eagle Trucking Company for over 40 years before retiring.

Mr. Olson is survived by his children, Chris Olson and wife Joyce of Kilgore, Paula Joiner and husband Bill of Houston and Karen Ford and husband David Ford of Longview; brother, Holger Olson; nine grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Willa Mae Olson; son, Sam Fair; daughter, Nancy Olson; brothers, Martin Olson and Gus Gustav Olson; great grandsons, Justin Taylor and Brandon Olson.
