      The Kilgore High School tennis team's second matchup of the young fall season had the Bulldogs facing off against Gladewater on Saturday, a Kilgore rout. KHS won 19 of 20 matches. The Bulldogs were to play on their home courts again this afternoon against Center.

Sosa's future in Texas uncertain

      ARLINGTON (AP) - Even though he has become a parttime player for the Texas Rangers since joining the 600- homer club, Sammy Sosa still plans for his comeback to be longer than one season. "If it's not here, it will be somewhere else, believe me," said Sosa, who has started only 10 of the Rangers' last 26 games. "I feel great. Definitely, I want to play another year.
