Sabine season tickets go on sale Monday

There's a fresh outlook on football at Sabine High School this year with a new head coach, and with that excitement comes season ticket sales.

Season tickets for previous season ticket-holders will go on sale on Monday, Aug. 13 at the high school office. Tickets are $20 each and include all games at Sabine's James Bamberg Stadium. Last year's season ticket-holders will have a week to claim their tickets, and beginning on Monday, Aug. 20, those unpurchased tickets will go on sale to the general public.

The Cardinals open their 2007 season against Troup on Saturday, Sept. 1 as a part of the Gladewater Kickoff Classic. Their home opener is Friday, Sept. 7 against Jefferson.

David Feaster, who coached Minden (La.) deep into the Louisiana playoffs last season, is Sabine's new head football coach and athletic director.
