City National Bank opens new branch

The Board of Directors and President of City National Bank announced the opening of the bank's new Gladewater Branch on Monday, April 30.

Conveniently located at 1625 East Broadway at Highway 80, the 5,800-square-foot facility offers customers a spacious, full-service lobby open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m, on Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. A four-lane drive through offers extended hours from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and Saturday banking from 9 a.m. until noon, as well as an on-site 24-hour ATM.

According to Roland Velvin, President of City National Bank, the bank's original Gladewater banking center at 700 Main Street will remain open as a drive-in and ATM facility only to deliver Gladewater customers twice the banking convenience.

Todd Clifton, Gladewater regional president, said the Gladewater branch staff is excited about the new facility. "Gladewater is our home. We have great confidence in the area and felt our customers deserve the convenience of this second location," he said.

Clifton said the decision was made to do a "soft opening" April 30 to allow time for any finishing touches. Grand opening celebrations will be the week of May 14th, with refreshments and door-prize registration Monday through Friday.

City National Bank is a fullservice community bank with locations in Kilgore, Longview and Gladewater. Additional information about City National Bank is available at www.citynationalbank. com.
