CHILD ABUSE AWARENESS MONTH A balloon release was held at Kid's World in recognition of Child Abuse Awareness Month. Detective Roman Robertson presented a safety program to approximately 40 children and distributed child safety booklets. Mayor Joe T. Parker read a proclamation and advocates Amy Foster, Patrick Johnson and Linda Pounders from the Kilgore Crisis Center provided the balloons and explanation of the release.
