KC opens with “Taming of the Shrew”

Kilgore College Theater Department’s first production of the spring semester, “Taming of the Shrew” by William Shakespeare, opens at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, and runs nightly, ending with a matinee performance at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 5, in the Van Cliburn Auditorium of the Anne Dean Turk Fine Arts Center.

Full of humor, physical comedy and romance, “Taming of the Shrew” is highly accessible to any audience and the physicality, humor, and comic characters promise to entertain. Tickets are available from 1:30 p.m to 4 p.m., MondayFriday, at the KC box office for $5 for general admission and $4 for students with a KC I.D.
