Gregg County

Burlington Resources O & G CO LP is preparing to drill the Flewellen Gas Unit 1 Well No. 2. The well is located 4.5 miles southwest from Longview in the Danville (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field. The well will reach a depth of 11,445-feet. The well will lie in the Bradley, E Survey, A-17. This well may also be drilled in the Willow Springs (Cotton Valley, West) Field, or a Wildcat Field.

The Danville, East (Cotton Valley) Field will see more production as GEO-Vest of Texas Inc. prepares to drill a new well to a depth of 11,000-feet. The well is to be known as the RundellMcWhorter Well No. 1. The well will be located 5.6 miles east from Kilgore and will lie in the Haden Edwards Survey, A-64. This well may also be drilled in the Daville (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field.

Harrison County

Dallas Operating Corp. is preparing to drill two new well designated the Zach Abney Unit Well No. 3 and Well No. 5. The wells will reach a total depth of 9,900-feet in the Waskom (Cotton Valley) Field. Both wells will be located eleven miles southeast from Marshall. The wells will lie in the W.C. Brookfield Survey, A-2.

In a lease 5.4 miles northeast from Easton in the Oak Hill (Cotton Valley) Field, Valence Operating Co. is preparing to drill a new well. The well is to be known as the Tutt, W. R. Well No. 3. The well will bottom at a depth of 10,800-feet. The well will lie in the Watson, W Survey, A-748. This well may also be drilled in the Oak Hill (Travis Peak) Field, a Wildcat Field, or the Oak Hill, North (Pettit) Field.

Empresa Energy LP is preparing to drill the Agnor Well No. 1. The well will reach a depth of 11,200-feet in the Woodlawn (Cotton Valley) Field. The well will be located 10.6 miles north from Marshall. The well will lie in the Pugh, F W Survey, A-559. This well may also be drilled in the Woodlawn, South (Hill) Field, Woodlawn (Travis Peak) Field, or the Woodlawn, South (Pettit) Field.

In a lease 7.5 miles north from Marshall, Chalker Energy Management is preparing to drill a new well. The well is designated the Gladys Davis Unit Well No. 7. The well will bottom at a depth of 10,400feet in the Hallsville, Northeast (Cotton Valley) Field. The well will lie in the Smith, R W Survey, A-626. This well may also be drilled in the Woodlawn, North (Travis Peak) Field, Woodlawn (Rodessa) Field, or the Woodlawn (Pettit Page) Field.

Nacogdoches County

The Jackson “E-1” Gas Unit Well No. 3 is being prepared for drilling by EOG Resources Inc. The well will reach a total depth of 10,000-feet. The well will be located 3.5 miles southwest from Garrison in the Appleby, North (Travis Peak) Field. The well will lie in the Castro, M D Survey, A-133. This well may also be drilled in a Wildcat Field.

Southwest Operating Inc.Tyler is preparing to drill the Spivey #1 Well No. 1 to a depth of 9,000-feet. The well will be located 1.5 miles northwest from Garrison in the Naconiche Creek (Rodessa-Travis Peak Consolidated) Field. The well will lie in the Acosta, J J Survey, A65. This well may also be drilled in a Wildcat Field.

In a lease 3.1 miles northwest fro Garrison in the Appleby, North (Travis Peak) Field, EOG Resources Inc. is preparing to drill a new well. The well will bottom at a depth of 10,000-feet. The well will lie in the Acosta, J J Survey, A-65. The well is be known as the H.A. Deloney “A-1” Well No. 3. This well may also be drilled in a Wildcat Field.

Panola County

Devon Louisiana Corp. is preparing to drill a new well to a depth of 10,000-feet in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field. The well will be located 6.6 miles southwest from Carthage. The well is to be known as the Haygood, Lois Well No. 8. The well will lie in the Davis, J Survey, A-162.

AC Exploration is preparing to drill the Williams Gas Unit Well No. 4. The well is located 11.7 miles west from Carthage in a Wildcat Field. The well will bottom at a depth of 10,200-feet and will lie in the Garrison, M Survey, A-247. This well may also be drilled in the J.G.S. (Rodessa Gloyd) Field, the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field, or the Carthage (Pettit, Lower) Field.

The Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field will see more production as Chalker Energy Management prepares to drill a new well to a depth of 10,000-feet. The well is designated the Knight, L.G. Well No. 1. The well will be Located nine miles east from Gary. The well will lie in the Tippett, J Survey, A-666. This well may also be drilled in the Woods (Travis Peak) Field, Paxton (Travis Peak) Field, or the Paxton (Upper Glen Rose) Field.

The Stroud Energy LTD is preparing to drill the Beckville Gas Unit Well No. 1 to a total depth of 11,000feet. The well will be located 11.3 miles northwest from Carthage in the Beckville (Cotton Valley) Field. The well will lie in the Harris, I Survey, A-322. This well may also be drilled in the Beckville (Travis Peak) Field.

Samson Lone Star LP is preparing to drill the Myers “A” Well No. 6. The well will be located six miles east from Elysian Field in the Bethany (Cotton Valley) Field. The well will bottom at a depth of 10,500-feet. The well will lie in the Lacy, W H Survey, A404. This well may also be drilled in a Wildcat Field.

In a lease 17.4 miles east from Carthage in the Carthage (Travis Peak) Field, Chevron U.S.A. Inc. is preparing to drill a new well. The well is designated the Penna-Sikes Well No. 4. The well will reach a total depth of 10,300-feet. The well will lie in the Sikes, J W Survey, A-822. This well may also be drilled in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field or a Wildcat Field.

Chesapeake Operating Inc. is preparing to drill three new wells to a depth of 11,000feet in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field. The wells are designated the Thomas & Wood Well No. 11, Well No. 12, and Well No. 13. All three wells will lie in the Goodwin, G Survey, A-224. Well No. 11 is locateds 2.1 miles southeast from Carthage, Well No. 12 is located 2.3 miles south from Carthage, and Well No. 13 is located 2.2 miles southeast from Carthage. These wells may also be drilled in a Wildcat Field.

The Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field will see more production as Chesapeake Operating Inc. prepares to drill two new wells to a depth of 11,000-feet. Both wells are located 15 miles southwest from Carthage. The wells are to be known as the W.S. Moss Estate Well No. 7 and Well No. 8. Well No. 7 will lie in the Mc Kelvie, J Survey, A-501 and Well No. 8 will lie in the Wornell, W R Survey, A-714. Both of these wells may also be drilled in a Wildcat Field.

Rusk County

Exco Resources Inc. is preparing to drill three new wells to a total depth of 11,000-feet in the Minden (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. The wells are designate the Don S. Craig Gas Unit 1 Well No. 2, Well No. 3, and Well No. 4. All three wells will be located five miles east from Henderson and will lie in the White , J M Survey, A813. These wells may also be drilled in a Wildcat Field.

The Minden (Cotton Calley Consolidaed) Field will see more production as Chinn Exploration Co. prepares to drill the Benton “Q” Well No. 20. The well will reach a total depth of 11,000-feet and will be located three miles west from Henderson. The well will lie in the Jones, T Survey, A-450.

Goodrich Petroleum Co. is preparing to drill the Grant Well No. 1 to a depth of 11,000-feet in the Minden (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. The well will be located nine miles southwest from Tatum. The well will lie in the Williams, T Survey, A-833. This well may also be drilled in the Church Hill (Travis Peak) Field or a Wildcat Field.

Dominion Exploration & Prod. Inc. is preparing to drill two new wells designated the Walter Pierce Gas Unit Well No. 11 and Well No. 115. The wells will reach a total depth of 11,355-feet in the Oak Hill (Cotton VAley) Field. Well No. 11 will be located 8.9 miles southeast from Kilgore and will lie in the Frisby, W Survey, A-280. Well No. 115 will be located 8.7 miles southeast from Kilgore and will lie in the Watkins, J Survey, A-807.

The Minden (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field will see more production as Encana Oil & Gas (USA) Inc. prepares to drill the Little Estate Well No. 1. The well will be located 5.4 miles southwest from Pinehill. The well will bottom at a depth of 11,300feet. The well will lie in the Gilbert, J Survey, A-325.

In a lease 5.9 miles southeast from Henderson in the Minden (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field, El Paso Production Co. is preparing to drill a new well. The well will reach a total depth of 11,200-feet. The well is to be known as the Markey #2 Well No. 10. The well will lie in the Reese, P_ Survey, A657. This well may also be drilled in the Minden (Trans.) Field, or a Wildcat Field.

Smith County

Encore Operating L.P. is preparing to drill the Wilson David G Well No. 15 to a depth of 12,000-feet. The well will be located 2.7 miles northeast from Troup in the Overton (Cotton Valley Sand) Field. The well will lie in the Procela, J M Survey, A17.

Harrison County

The John Briggs Estate Well No. 2 has been completed by Chalker Energy Management in the Woodlawn Field. The well bottom at a depth of 10,168-feet and is located 5.3 miles east from Woodlawn. The well potentialed 636,000 cubic feet of natural gas when gauged on a 20/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

The Oak Hill Field will see more production since XTO Energy Inc. has completed the Eastman Gas Unit Well No. 5. The well bottomed at a depth of 10,718-feet and is located 7.70 miles southwest of Hallsville. The well potentialed 1.074 million cubic feet of natural gas when gaugedon a 24/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

B.P. America Production Co. has completed the H. G. Becker Gas Unit Well No. 6 to a total depth of 10,258feet. The well is located 8.9 miles south from Marshall in the Blocker Field. When gauged on an adjustable choke the well potentialed 1.458 million cubic feet of natural gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

The Vincent Well No. 9 has been completed by Shelby Operating Co. to a depth of 6,453-feet. The well is located two miles south of Waskom in the Waskom Field. The well flowed 75 barrels of crude oil when gauged on a 20/64-inch choke. Production is in the Gloyd formation.

The Hallsville, Northeast Field will see more production since Samson Lone Star LP has completed a new well. The well is designated the Texie B. Davis Well No. 3. The well reached a total depth of 10,155-feet and is located eight miles north of Marshall. The well Potentialed 1.656 million cubic feet of natural gas when gauged on a 24/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

Nacogdoches County

In a lease 12 miles northwest from Nacogdoches in the Douglass, West Field, Samson Lone Star Limited Partnership completed the Stripling’s Inc. Gas Unit 1 Well No. 6. The well reached a total depth of 10,540-feet. When gauged on a 32/64inch choke the well potentialed 662,000 cubic feet of natural gas. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

The Douglass, West Field will see more production since Samson Lone Star Partnership has completed the DeVault C. S. Gas Unit 1 Well No. 3. The well reached a depth of 10,460-feet and is located ten miles west from Nacogdoches. The well Potentialed 2.362 million cubic feet when gauged on a 26/64-inch choke. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

The Appleby, North Field will see more production since Apache Corp. has completed a well. The well is designated the Hart, Max W. Gas Unit Well No. 9. The well reached a total depth of 8,950-feet and is located 4.70 miles southwest from Garrison. The well potentialed 1.069 million cubic feet when gauged on a 10/64-inch choke. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

Chesapeake Operating has completed the Adams Gas Unit Well No. 7 to a total depth of 8,950-feet in the Naconiche Creek Field. The well potentialed 733,000 cubic feet when gauged on a 16/64-inch choke. The well is located 4.9 miles southwest from Garrison. Production is in the Rodessa-Travis Peak Consolidated formation.

The Naconiche Creek will see more production since Durret Gas Unit Well No. 4 has been completed by Chesapeake Operating Inc. The well bottomed at a depth of 10,157-feet. The well is located 6.10 miles southwest from Garrison. When gauged on a 16/64-inch choke the well potentialed 1.122 million cubic feet of natural gas. Production is in the Rodessa-Travis Peak Consolidated formation.

Panola County

In a lease 2.0 miles east of Beckville in the Carthage Field, BP America Production Co. has completed the Carthage Gas Unit 6A Well No. 13. The well reached a total depth of 10,185-feet. When gauged on an adjustable choke size the well potentialed 1.007 million cubic feet of natural gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

Devon Energy Production Co. has completed a well to a depth of 6,850-feet in the Carthage Field. The well is designated the Chadwick Unit Well No. 14-L. The well is located 3.5 miles north from Carthage. The well potentialed 10,000 cubic feet when gauged on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Pettit, Upper formation.

The Carthage Field will see more production since Devon Louisiana Corp. has completed the Werner Sawmill Well No. 3. The well is located 12.5 miles southwest from DeBerry. The well bottomed at a depth of 7,000-feet. When gauged on an adjustable choke the well potentialed 205,000 cubic feet of natural gas. Production is in the Travis Peak 6400 formation.

Rusk County

Ascent Operating LP has completed a new well. The well reached a total depth of 10,950-feet in the Minden Field. The well is designated the Cuba Alexander Gas Unit 1 Well No. 4. The well is located 2.5 miles west from Henderson. The well potentialed 1.657 million cubic feet of natural gas when gauged on a 18/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

Smith County

Encore Operating L.P. has completed te David S. Wilson Well No. 9 to a depth of 11,755-feet in the Overton Field. The well is located 2.9 miles northeast from Troup. When gauged on a 48/64inch choke the well potentialed 2.844 million cubic feet of natural gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley Sand formation.

In a lease one mile northernly northeast from Chapel Hill in the Chapel Hill Field, Samson Lone Star Limited Partnership has completed the Walton Heirs Well No. 2. The well reached a depth of 8,600-feet. The well potentialed 100,000 cubic feet of natural gas when gauged on a 48/64-inch choke. Production is in the Rodessa formation.

Southwestern Energy Production Co. has completed the Matlock Gas Unit 1 Well No. 16. The well potentialed 2.709 million cubic feet of natural gas when gauged on a 24/64-inch choke. The well reached a total depth of 12,150-feet. The well is located five miles southwest from Arp in the Overton Field. Production is in the Cotton Valley Sand formation.
