ALZHEIMER’S SUPPORT GROUP for Caregivers and Families caring for someone with Alzheimer’s Disease will meet the first Thursday, Jan. 4 at Laird Memorial Hospital in the conference room, at 4 p.m. Althea Mixon will lead the group.

THE WOMEN’S AUXILIARY at Laird Memorial Hospital is in need of paperbacks. The auxiliary sells the books for 25 cents and transfers the money to a fund which helps buy medicine for indigent or needy patients at the hospital. Please take new or nicely-used paperbacks (except romance novels) to the auxiliary desk in the lobby at the hospital.
