RRC plus record number of old wells in 2006

AUSTIN - The three Railroad Commissioners announced today that the Texas Railroad Commission (RRC) has plugged a record number of abandoned oil and gas wells - a total of 1,824 in Fiscal Year 2006 - the highest number of wells plugged by the RRC in one year.
