Bulldogs get second in a row, shut out Judson, 28-0
YOUTH FOOTBALL
Kilgore's East Texas Little League Football Association team won its second consecutive game last weekend, beating Judson 28-0. The Bulldogs - thirdand fourth-graders - scored on the very first play from scrimmage (a touchdown pass for 48 yards to Michael Henderson from quarterback Trey Conrod) and never looked back. Kilgore got two more scores on a 42-yard run by Garrett Bowery and a 36-yard run by Conrod and led 22-0 at halftime. After having a touchdown called back early, Devon Boyd found the end zone and it counted on a 63-yard touchdown to complete scoring. The defense got its third shutout of the season, led by Nick Orange and Joshua Brittain, who combined for three sacks and nine tackles. The 3-1 Bulldogs face Bramlett (2-2) on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at Stamper Park in Longview. Kilgore is coached by Kerry Boyd.
