FRANK MUMPHREY

Funeral services Frank Mumphrey, of Kilgore, will be Saturday Sept. 9, 2006 at 11 a.m. at Mr Moriah Baptist Church with Bishop P.D. Austin officiating. Burial will follow at Kilgore Memorial Garden. Under the direction of Cunningham Funeral Home.

Mr. Frank Mumphrey was born April 1, 1947, he was the first born of Robert Lee and Lois Mumphrey in Longview. He attended North Chapel High School. As soon as he graduated he enlisted in the service at the age of sixteen. He joined the Army and served two terms in the Vietnam war. He was married to Patsy Mumphrey.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, one aunt, and three uncles.

He passed away Sept. 1, 2006 at Good Shepherd.

Mr. Mumphrey was a devoted husband, brother, uncle, stepfather, and grandfather.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Patsy Mumphrey of Kilgore; parents, Robert Lee and Lois Mumphrey of Kilgore; two brothers, Jerry Lee Mumphrey of Dallas, Johnny Ray Mumphrey of Kilgore; two sisters, Annie Lois Yarborough of Kilgore, Annie Ruth Roberson, of Kilgore; step-children, Kaye Lacy, of Houston, Phyllus Lacy, of Kilgore, Dee Dee Lacy of CA., Terry Lacy of CA.; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be at Cunningham Funeral Home at 7-8 Friday evening.
