WELL-WISHES FROM A LOCAL LONGHORN

Young Drew Adamez (center), whose parents, Andy and Brazie Adamez, are from Kilgore, was at the Childrens Hospital in Austin Friday receiving treatment when several members of the University of Texas football team came by for a visit. One just happened to be Kilgore's own Eddie Jones (right). Drew, only 16 months, has a malignant tumor that is being treated by chemotherapy. He is the grandson of Randy and Alice Crocker and C.G. and Nina Mata, all of Kilgore. Nina, of course, is a teacher at Kilgore High School and longtime KHS girls track coach. Mr. and Mrs. Crocker have also been very involved with KHS sports, and Randy has transported the big bell to football games for about 15 years. Please pray for little Drew and his family in this important time.
