PSYCHIC SHORTCOMING

This Longview psychic should have known that signs in the city right of way are illegal in Kilgore. Code enforcement officer Frank Baggett says a he called the number and advised the psychic that "your future holds a $500 fine." According to Baggett, the city has picked up five of the signs and could fine her as much as $500 per sign. "I've picked up $2500 worth of illegal signs this morning," he said today. The city sign ordinance is being re-written but will still prohibit signs in the right of way. Baggett said the psychic is a first-time offender and will receive a warning ticket.
