SYBIL LORAINE TURNER

Funeral services were scheduled for Sybil Loraine Turner, 77, of Kilgore, Monday, July 10, 2006 at 2 p.m. at Crawford-Crim-Bryan Funeral Chapel in Henderson. Burial followed in Oak Hill Cemetery under the direction of Crawford-Crim-Bryan Funeral Home. Mrs. Turner died Friday, July 7, 2006 at Kilgore Manor Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.

Visitation was Sunday July 9, 2006 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

She was born June 24, 1929 to Worth and Zillah Bennett. She was a longtime resident of Oak Hill, and Henderson, where she was a member of St. Pauls Methodist Church. She retired from Central School in Henderson after 29 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, M.H. Turner, two grandchildren and her brother Alfred Bennett.

Mrs. Turner is survived by three daughters, Betty Ormes, Margaret Rogers, and Connie Smith, all of Kilgore; two grandsons John Rogers of Longview and Bryan Marshall of Liberty City, seven greatgrandchildren.

Pallbearers were John Rogers, Daryl Bennett, Bryan Marshall, Milton Bennet, Doug Bennett, Aaron Barnes, Mike Rogers and Robert Smith.
