Hopson to address Kiwanians

District 11 State Rep. Chuck Hopson is scheduled to be the second speaker in the "Pizza with a Politician" program sponsored by the Greater Lakeport Kiwanis Club on Wednesday, July 26.

The club is sponsoring a series of informal luncheons with state and federal politicians. The public is invited. Reservations can be made by calling Tony Martin at (903)918-5100 or Judi Morgan at (903)6430988. Cost is $5 to cover the pizza lunch.

These programs are being held at the Cherokee Water Company Office on Lake Cherokee.

State Rep. Tommy Merritt was the first politician in the "Pizza with a Politician" program. U.S. Rep. Louie Gohmert is schedule in August.
