Locals earn college honors

RUSTON, La. - Eric Collins of Kilgore was named an honor student at Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, LA. He was named to the President's List, which signifies achievement of at least a 3.8 grade point average on a minimum of nine semester hours completed on the 100-level or higher and with no grade lower than a B.

Greer of Kilgore was among Harding University students included on the school's Dean's List for grades achieved during the spring semester.

Greer is a junior criminal justice major.

To be eligible for the Dean's List, a student must be carrying 12 or more hours and have an average scholarship level of 3.65 minimum.
