KEDC by-laws to get update

City Attorney Rob Schleier was granted permission to draft amendments to KEDC's by-laws to include 4A(S) projects approved in the recent election.

Schleier told the board this is an "opportune time to clean up the by-laws. They were written in 1990 and contain things not necessary now."

Schleier is to have a draft of the proposed updated bylaws completed and back to KEDC before its June meeting.

"We hope to present the draft to the city council at the same time we get it," Nobles said. "We hope this will enhance the teamwork efforts to work with the council to make sure the bylaws are clear and concise."
