ANNIE LEE GILLIAM Funeral services for Annie Lee Jackson Gilliam, 77, of Kilgore will be 11 a.m. May 6, 2006 at Kilgore Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Ross and Bro. Nathaniel Cantly officiating. Burial will be in Kilgore Baptist Cemetery. Arrangements are under the directions of Victory Funeral Services. Annie Lee Jackson Gilliam, affectionately known as Ann, was born June 2, 1929 in Arp, the daughter of Percy Jackson, Sr. and Fredzora Jackson. She departed this life on May 1, 2006 at Laird Memorial Hospital. She attended and graduated from Arp Public Schools. Early in life she united with Cool Springs Methodist Church. Later after relocating to Kilgore she joined the Macedonia Baptist Church and most recently became a member of Kilgore Baptist Church where she served and was a member of Circle No. 3 until her health failed. In 1953, she united in holy matrimony with M. T. Gilliam and four children were born to this union. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Michael and M.T., Jr.; one brother, Finas Jackson; three sisters, Maxine Bowie, Ernestine Jackson, and Shirley Jo Jackson. She leaves to cherish a beautiful memory, her husband of 52 years, M. T. Gilliam of Kilgore; daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Rickey Brown of Henderson; two sons, Danny Gilliam and Darryl Gilliam both of Kilgore; two brothers and sisters-inlaw, Fennis and Mollie Jackson of Overton, and Percy Jackson, Jr. of Kilgore; five sisters and brothers-in-law, Lottie Batts of Kilgore, Cora and Curtis Dunn of Tyler, Oleta Bosley of Houston, Dorothy Hart of Los Angeles, CA, and Barbara Palmer of Flint, MI; three grandchildren; two great granddaughters; special friend, Dorothy Reeves of Kilgore; a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Public viewing will be from noon until 9 p.m. with family hour from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 5, 2006 at Victory Funeral Services.
