Funeral services for Columbus Johnson, 61, of San Francisco will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 29, 2006 at Forest Grove CME Church in Homer, Louisiana. Burial will be in Forest Grove Cemetery. Arrangements are under the directions of Victory Funeral Services.

Columbus Johnson was born in Homer, Louisiana, on September 14, 1944 to the parentage of Willie and Morine Johnson. He departed this life on Sunday, April 9, 2006 in San Francisco, California.

He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam war.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Morine of Homer, LA; father, Willie Johnson of Sebastopol, CA; a brother and sister-in-law, Willie and Gracie George of Kilgore; several other siblings in Louisiana and many other relatives and friends.
