College board takes meeting to West Rusk

The Kilgore College Board of Trustees will conduct its April meeting on Tuesday, April 11, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the West Rusk ISD administration building in New London. Area residents are encouraged to attend.

Each year, the KC Board of Trustees conducts a meeting off the college campus in one of the schools in the taxing district schools to give local constituents a chance to come to a meeting. At the beginning of the meeting, there will be a public comment section so that visitors can speak to the board.

The 2006 traveling meeting will be held in the South Zone, which includes Leverett's Chapel, West Rusk and Overton Independent School Districts. Fred Parsons, Bob Heath and Will Roberson are the board members representing the South Zone. Residents of the South Zone are particularly invited to attend, but the meeting is open to all citizens regardless of location.

The West Rusk administration building is located at 10705 S. Main St., New London, Texas.
