Funeral services for David Tarver, 70, of Kilgore were Wednesday, April 5, 2006 at Highland Park Baptist Church with the Rev. Riley Pippen officiating. Burial will followed in the Danville Cemetery. Mr. Tarver passed away Monday, April 3, 2006 in Longview, .

He was born, August 18, 1935 in Smackover, AR.

He is survived by his wife of fifty years; four children; six grandchildren; one sister; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jeter and Emodell Murphy Tarver, and a brother John Tarver.
