LONGVIEW -The North East Texas Regional Mobility Authority (NET RMA) will meet in a special meeting on Friday, March 31, 1:30 p.m. in the Gregg County Commissioners' Courtroom on the third floor of the Gregg County Courthouse.

Board members are expected to hear presentations from three financial service companies.

Representatives from First Southwest Company/Southwest Securities, R13C Capital Markets and EstradaHinojosa Investment Bankers are expected to present material on funding alternatives.

The next scheduled board meeting is scheduled for May 2 in Gregg County. The NET RMA was started a year ago by commissioners from Gregg and Smith counties in an attempt to help find methods of funding transportation needs that will augment those form the state.

The Texas Transportation Commission is encouraging officials across the state to find new, creative methods of funding highway projects.
