THE KHS WAR YEARS REUNION GROUP will meet Tuesday, Mar. 14, at the 1 p.m. for their monthly lunch meeting at Captain's Fish House on 214 Hwy. 79 N., Henderson.

THE KILGORE BAND BOOSTERS will be meeting Tuesday, Mar. 14, at the KHS Band Hall at 7 p.m. for their monthly meeting. Parents of MLMS and KHS band students are encouraged to attend.

THE DISTRICT COMMITTEE will meet Wednesday, Mar. 15 at 3:30 p.m. in the KISD Board Room.

LAIRD MEMORIAL HOSPITAL will sponsor a blood drive to benefit the American Red Cross on Wednesday, March 15, from 1 pm until 5:30pm. The Red Cross bus will be located by the flagpole at the hospital's north entrance. The Red Cross supplies blood and blood products to Laird Hospital and all other hospitals in Gregg County. On behalf of those whose lives will be saved, Laird Hospital encourages the community to support the American Red Cross in this upcoming Blood Drive.

RUSK COUNTY ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE will host a chili cook-off from 3 7 p.m. on April 6 to benefit its scholarship fund at the Rusk County Youth Expo in Henderson. The event is limited to 20 teams and each must prepare 10 gallons of chili. Bowls, drinks, crackers and such will be provided by RCEC. There is no entry fee and each team will get to designate the winner of a $100 scholarship. A total of $3,000 in scholarships will be distributed. For more info, call 903/657-4571.
