LEO COOK

Services for Leo Cook, 17, of Kilgore will be two p.m., Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at the Grace Baptist Church with the Reverend Don Beebe officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeview Memorial Gardens. Leo passed away Sunday, March 12, 2006, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Leo was born January 20, 1989 in Longview, Texas son of Cindy and Cecil Cook. He was a member of the Grace Baptist Church. Leo was a junior at Sabine High School where he was very involved in athletics especially basketball. Leo was a University of Texas fan in every sense of the word. He was a very giving person not only of his time but his belongings, while at Children's Medical Center in Dallas his concern was always for the other children at the hospital. Leo's Heart was always about everyone else not himself. All who knew him will miss him.

Leo is survived by his parents Cindy and Cecil Cook of Kilgore; grandmother Murva Lawless; aunts and uncles Lisa and Paul Gottle of Longview, Ray and Donna Cook of Longview and Donnie Cook of Kilgore; cousins Erin and Amy Gottle of Longview, Kara Beth and Cody Cook of Longview and Dorrie Cook of Longview as well as many other loving family and friends.

Leo was preceded in death by his grandfather Leo Lawless and grandparents Doyle and Christine Cook.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Rader Funeral Home of Kilgore.

Memorials can be made to the Children's Medical Center, Grace Baptist Church or to Greater Hospice of East Texas.
