MARJORIE “MARGIE” NICHOLS

Services for Marjorie “Margie” Nichols 56, of San Jose, CA, will be at 1 p.m. Feb. 25, 2006 at Southern Funeral Home Chapel of Henderson, with the Rev. John Mosley, Rev. Robert Brown and Rev. Hiawitta officiating. Burial will follow at Prospect, under the direction of Southern Funeral Home, of Henderson. She passed away Feb. 14, 2006 in San Jose, CA.

She was born Feb. 12, 1950, in Henderson. She lived most of her live in Rusk County, attending Minden High School, Minden. Later moving to CA. She was affliated with Lone Star Baptist Church in Henderson, initially Margie attended New Home Baptist Church and later united with the Ipen Bible Faith Community Church.

She was the founder of “Margie’s Day Care” in SanJose, CA.

She was Preceded in Death by her parents, Floyd Lee and Ollie Nichols, and sister Ollie Vale Nichols.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Debra Kay Nichols of Raleigh, NC, Verneda Nichols of San Jose, CA; 4 sisters Louise Hill, JoAnna Saners, Lillie Cage all of Henderson, Roxie Streeter of Los Angeles, CA; 3 brothers, Pete Nichols of Los Angeles, CA, J. D. Nichols of Kansas City, KS, David Nichols of Kansas City, MO; 1 grandson.

Pallbeares will be friends of the family.
