BERNIECE BALUSEK

Funeral Services for Berniece Balusek, 85, of Kilgore were held Monday, Dec. 19, 2005 in the Chapel at Rader Funeral Home of Kilgore with Rev. James Henderson Officiating. Burial followed at Kilgore Memorial Gardens. She passed away Saturday, Dec. 17, 2005 in Tyler.

Mrs. Balusek was born Nov. 30, 1920 in Stonewall, OK. She moved to Kilgore in 1942 and was married to Rudolph Balusek on March 30, 1944. She worked for five years with her husband as owners of the Highland Park Grocery Store and was a longtime member of the Eastview Baptist Church. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Mary Ann and Steve Pollard of Quinlan; Son and daughterin law Danny and Jodi Balusek of Kilgore; brother and sisterin law Tom and Laverne Joiner of Mangum, Ok; three granddaughters; ten great-grandchildren, as well as many other loving family and friends.
