JEANNIE C. BERRY

Graveside services for Jeannie C. Berry, 60, of Kilgore will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Chapel of the Air at Land of Memory Cemetery, Palestine with Rev. James Boatman officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home, Palestine.

Mrs. Berry passed away Monday, Dec. 26, 2005 at Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview.

She was born November 3, 1945, in Overton, Texas. She had lived in Kilgore for the past several years. Mrs. Berry was retired from the Texas Department of Corrections. She attended the First United Pentecostal Church, Kilgore.

Survivors include her son, John Berry, Lumberton; daughter, Monte Jones, Paris; mother, Opal Garcia, Kilgore; 3 brothers, Ben Garcia, Kilgore, James Garcia, New London, and Johnny Garcia, Dallas; 3 sisters, Monteray Swanson, Kilgore, Judy Wilson, Longview, and Debbie Garcia, Overton; 4 grandchildren, Craig, Rachel, Kaycee, and River; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon on Thursday, at Herrington /Land of Memory Funeral Home.
