LETTER TO THE EDITOR

Editor,

After watching what the hurricane victims in Louisiana and Mississippi are having to live with, I don’t understand why someone in D.C. doesn’t explain to Bush that he can use his line item veto on this budget and give the oil and gas industry the drilling rights in the next budget.

In the meantime, the victims will have the money they need to start re-building. It could be a win/win situation.
