In a lease within the city limits of Troup, the McGill Well No. 4 will be drilled by C. W. Resources, Inc. The well will bottom at 12,200-feet and will be drilled in the Gee, E Survey, A20 in the Overton (Cotton Valley Sand) Field.

The Vintage Petroleum Inc. is preparing to drill the Dixon John M. Well No. 5 to a depth of 12,000-feet in a Wildcat Field. The well will be located 12.3 miles south from Rusk. The well will lie in the Z. Gibbs Survey, A21.

Gregg County

Burlington Resources Oil & Gas Company LP will drill a new well in the Danville (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field. The well will bottom at 11,550-feet and will be located 4.6 miles southwest from Longview in the Edwards, H Survey, A-64. The well may also be drilled in a Wildcat Field or the Willow Springs (Cotton Valley, West) Field.

The Margaret Gunn GU 1 Well No. 10 will also be drilled by Burlington Resources Oil & Gas company LP in the Danville

Travis Peak Consolidated) Field. The well will bottom at 11,550feet and will also be located 4.6 miles southwest from Longview in the Edwards, H Survey, A-64. This well may also be drilled in a Wildcat Field or the Willow Springs (Cotton Valley, West) Field.

In a lease 0 miles within direction from Gladewater, TXOK Texas Energy Resources, LP is preparing to drill the F M Fonville Well No. 04. The well will reach a total depth of 11,300-feet in the White Oak

The Christian, J M Well No. 6 is being prepared for drilling by TXOK Texas Energy Resources L.P. The well will bottom at a depth of 11,300-feet in the White Oak (Cotton Valley Sand) Field. The well will be located 0.5 miles north from White Oak. The well will lie in the Hooper, G W Survey, A-92.

Panola County

In a lease 8.9 miles southeast from Carthage in the Carthage

Cotton Valley) Field, the Naomi 3 Unit Well No. 12 will be drilled by Conocophillips Co. The well will bottom at 10,100-feet in the Lee, J Survey, A-395.

The Chevron U. S. A. Inc. is preparing to drill a new well to a depth of 10,500-feet in a Wildcat Field. The well will be located 11.9 miles east from Carthage. This well is to be known as the Werner D Wel No. 9. The well will lie in the Anderson, G Survey, A-9. This well may also be drilled in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field, or the Carthage

Travis Peak) Field.

The Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field will see more production as Devon Louisiana Corp. prepares to drill the Haygood, Louis Well No. 7. The well will bottom at a depth of 10,000-feet and will be located 6.8 miles southwest from Carthage. This well will lie in the Davis, J Survey, A-162.

The Beckville (Cotton Valley) Field will see more production as the Goodrich Petroleum Co. prepares to drill an additional well to a depth of 11,000-feet. The well will be located 6.3 miles southwest from Tatum. This well is to be known as the Waldrop, G. T. Well No. 2. The well will lie in the Scruggs, C S Survey, A614. This well may also be drilled in a Wildcat Field, Beckville (Pettit 6800) Field, or the Beckville (Travis Peak) Field.

In a lease 5.5 miles southeast from DeBerry in the Centennial, East (Cotton Valley) Field, Sendero Energy Inc. is preparing to drill the Werner-Matthews Well No. 6 to a total depth of 10,000-feet. The well will lie in the Matthews, J Survey, A-421.

Chesapeake Operating Inc. is preparing to drill the Crump Gas Unit Well No. 7 to a depth of 12,000-feet. The well will be located 0.8 miles east from De Berry in the Bethany, East (Cotton Valley) Field. The well will lie in the WM A. Pressley Survey, A556.

Rusk County

The Dickeson Well No. 2 will be drilled by The Houston Exploration Co. in the Henderson, East (Cotton Valley) Field. The well will be located 5.3 miles northwest from Henderson in the Pena, M V Survey, A-27 with a depth of 11,200-feet. The well may also be drilled in a Wildcat Field.

El Paso Production Co. will drill the Crim Well No. 6 and the Crim Well No. 8 to a depth of 11,950-feet in a Wildcat Field. The No. 6 well will be located 4.7 miles southeast from Henderson and the No. 8 will be located 4.9 miles southeast from Henderson, both are in the Carmel,M Survey, A-158. The wells may also be drilled in the Jarrell Creek (Travis Peak) Field or the Minden (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field.

The Cobra #2 Well No. 7 will be drilled in a Wildcat Field to a depth of 11,200-feet by El Paso Production Co. The well will be located 7.2 miles southeast from Henderson in the Morton, R Survey, A-551. The well may also be drilled in the Jarrell Creek (Travis Peak) Field or the Minden (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field.

The Henderson, East (Cotton Valley) Field will see more production. The Dollar, Reed Well No. 1 will be drilled by The Houston Exploration Co. to a depth of 11,200-feet. The well will be located 2.7 miles southwest from Henderson in the Mc Williams, J Survey, A-539.

Cabot Oil & Gas Corp is preparing to drill the Orr Well No. 1 to a depth of 12,000-feet in a Wildcat Field. The well will be located three miles northeast from Minden. The well will lie in the vansickle, B A Survey, A-796. This well may also be drilled in the Minden (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field.

The Haskins “C” Well No. 4 is being prepared for drilling by Chinn Exploration Co. to a total depth of 11,000-feet. The well will be located 8 miles southeast from Henderson in the Henderson, East (Cotton Valley) Field. The well wull lie in the Clark, W Survey, A-6.

Smith County

Southwestern Energy Production Co. will drill the Wright Gas Unit 1 Well No. 9 to a dpeth of 12,000-feet in the Overton (Cotton Valley Sand) Field. The well will be located 1.6 miles south from Arp in the Henriquez, M G Survey. A-11. The well may also be drilled in a Wildcat Field.

The Swann, M. C. Well No. 13 will be drilled in the Overton (Cotton Valley Sand) Field to a depth of 12,000-feet. Encore Operating, L.P. will drill the well 2.1 miles east from Troup in the Edson Gee Survey, A-10.

The Southwestern Energy Prod. Co.is preparing to drill the Perry Gas Unit 1 Well No. 6. The well will bottom a depth of 12,400feet. The well will be located 2.5 miles southwest from Arp in the Overton (Cotton valley Sand) Field. The well will lie in the B Lafferty Survey, A-13. This well may also be drilled in a Wildcat Field.

Southwestern Energy Prod. Co. is preparing to drill th Kickapoo Creek Gas Unit 1 Well No. 15 to a depth of 12,200-feet in the Overton (Cotton Valley Sand) Field. The well will be located 2.1 miles northeast From Troup. The well will lie in the Noblitt, J Survey, A-735. This well may also be drilled in a Wildcat Field.

In a lease 3.5 miles southwest from Arp in the Overton (Cotton Valley Sand) Field, Southwestern Energy Prod. Co. is preparing to drill the Allred gas Unit 1 Well No. 15 to a total depth of 12,200-feet. The well will lie in the Lafferty, B Survey, A-13. This well may also be drilled in a Wildcat Field.

Upshur County

In a lease 0.25 miles south from Gilmer, in the Gilmer (Cotton Valley) Field, the Dean Well No. 1 will be drilled to a depth of 12,100-feet. The well will lie in the A. Lumbrera Survey, A-3 and may also be drilled in a Wildcat Field, the Gilmer (Jurassic) Field or the Gilmer (Bossier Sand) Field.

The Key Production Co. Inc. is preparing to drill the McCaslinHall Well No. 2. The well will be located 4.3 miles west from Ore City and will reach a depth of 12,000-feet in the Cedar Springs (Cotton Valley, Lower) Field. The well will lie in the Little, W Survey, A-274.

Apache Corp. is preparing to drill the Johnson Gas Unit Well No. 3. The well will bottom at total depth of 14,000-feet in the Cherokee Trace (Jurassic Bradshaw) Field. The well will be located 6.7 miles northeast from Gilmer. The well will lie in the Lemuel B. Brown Survey, A-23. This well may also be drilled in a Wildcat Field, or the Cherokee Trace (Cotton Valley) Field.

COMPLETIONS

Nacogdoches County

Ovation Energy II, LP has completed the drilling of the Marshall Griffin Well No. 3 to a depth of 11,419-feet. The well is located eight miles southeast of Nacogdoches in the Shawnee Springs Field. The well was gauged on a 32/64-inch choke and potentialed 1.530 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

The Longino, et al Unit Well No. 9 has been completed to a depth of 9,850-feet in the Carthage Field. Lacy Operations, Ltd. drilled the well six miles northeast of Beckville. When gauged on an adjustable choke the well potentialed 1.063 million cubic feet of gas. Productioin is in the Cotton Valley formation.

In a lease 4.8 miles southwest of Garrison, in the Naconiche Creek Field, the Adams Gas Unit Well No. 8 has been completed by Chesapeake Operating. The well is drilled to a dpeth of 8,875-feet and potentialed 429,000 cubic feet of gas when gauged on a 18/64-inch choke. Produciton is in the RodessaTravis Peak Consolidated formation.

When gauged on a 16/64inch choke, the Foshee Gas Unit Well No. 5 potentialed 1.491 million cubic feet of natural gas. The well is located southwest of Garrison in the Naconiche Creek Field. The well was drilled to a depth of 8,892-feet by Chesapeake Operating, Inc. Production is in the RodessaTravis Peak Consolidated formation.

The Wind Dance Well No. 1 has been completed to a depth of 8,388-feet by Sonerra Resources Corp. The well is located eight miles east from Nacogdoches in the Kendrick Field. The well was gauged on a 14/64inch choke and potentialed 3.731 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the James formation.

The Hayter Well No. 43 has been completed by Samson Lone Star Limited Partnership with a depth of 10,740-feet in the Douglass, West Field. The well is located 10.10 miles northwest from Nacogdoches. When gauged on a 28/-inch choke the well potentialed 1.548 million cubic feet of natural gas. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

Samson Lone Star Partnership has completed the Moser, L. E. Gas Unit 1 Well No. 4 with a depth not listed. The well is located 11.80 miles northwest from Nacogdoches in the Douglass West Field. The production is in the Travis peak formation. The well potentialed 1.436 million cubic feet of gas when gauged on a 48/64-inch choke.

The Little Ears Field has seen more production since Samson Lone Star Partnership has completed the Douglass Gas Unit 7B Well No. 1. The well bottomed at a depth of 10,409-feet located 5.40 miles northwest from Nacogdoches. The well Potentialed 18,000cubic feet of natural gas when gauged on a 64/64 inch choke. Production is in the Pettit Lime formation.

The Desha Gas Unit 1 Well No. 1 has been completed to a depth of 10,625-feet in the Douglass West Field. The well is located 11.50 miles northwest from Nacogdoches. The well was completed by Samson Lone Star Partnership when gauged on a 23/64-inch choke,the well potentialed 1.411 million cubic feet of natural gas. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

Panola County

In a lease 8.4 miles northeast of Carthage, in the Carthage Field, Alfred C. Glassell, Jr. has completed the Panola Development Well No. 8. When gauged on an adjustable choke the well potentialed 726,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is n the Cotton Valley formation.

The Ira L. Jernigan Well No. 2 potentialed 800,000 cubic feet of gas when gauged on a 20/64-inch choke. The well is located 1/8 mile south from DeBerry in the Carthage, North Field. The well has a total depth of 9,900-feet and was drilled by Bowles Energy, Inc. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

EOG Resources, Inc. has completed the Carthage Gas Unit Well No. 219 in the Carthage Field. The well is located eight miles northeast from Carthage to a depth of 9,665-feet. The well potentialed 1.319 million cubic feet of natural gas when gauged on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

Rusk County

The Houston Exploration Co. has completed the Redwine Well No. 1 in the East, Henderson Field. The well is located 4.8 miles southwest from Henderson to a depth of 11,160-feet. The well potentialed 1.142 million cubic feet of natural gas when gauged on a 26/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

In a lease 3.10 miles southeast of Henderson, El Paso Production Co. has completed the Wilkins Gas Unit 1 Well No. 11. The well bottomed at a depth of 10,950-feet in the Minden Field. The well potentialed 792,000 cubic feet of natural gas when gauged on a 20/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

Smith County

The Paluxy B Sand Unit Well No. 1A flowed with 28.34 barrels of cruded, choke size not recorded. The well is located 2.7 miles north of Tyler in the Mary Blevins Field. The well is drilled to a depth of 7,600-feet. Production is in the Paluxy B formation.

Encore Operating, L.P. drilled the Moore Well No. 5 to a depth of 12,090-feet in the Overton Field. The well is located one mile northeast from Troup and potentialed 2.732 million cubic feet of natural gas when gauged on a 48/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Sand formation.

When gauged on a 31/64inch choke, the Poole Well No. 2 potentialed 1.150 million cubic feet of gas. The well is located 4.2 miles south from Troup in the Overton, North Field. Valence Operating Co. drilled the well to a depth of 12,410-feet with production in the Haynesville formation.

Encore Operating L.P. has completed the McEllroy Well No. 6 in the Overton Field. The well is located 1.3 miles northeast from Troup to a depth of 11,960-feet. The well potentialed 2.637 million cubic feet of natural gas when gauged on a 48/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Sand formation.
