SNOW BUSINESS

Based on phone inquiries from around East Texas, Kilgore Chamber of Commerce President Mike Coston said today he expects hundreds of visitors for tonight’s downtown snow hill. The hill opens for free sledding at 6 p.m. at the World’s Richest Acre, between Kilgore and Commerce Streets. If weather permits – which this morning did not appear likely – the hill will reopen at 9 a.m. tomorrow. The city and the Chamber of Commerce share the cost of the event which last year drew sledders from Marshall, Henderson, Longview, Gilmer and Tyler.
