Submitted photo The Wolverines, an under-14-year-old soccer team from Kilgore (a Kilgore Soccer Association team), attended the North Texas Soccer Association’s Tournament of Champions in Dallas, held Dec. 3-4, and came home with first place! Members of the team include Daniel Ellis, Rusty Beasley, Brian Decker, Robert Davidson, Rogelio Meraz, Joel Venegas, coach Paul Green, Troy Green, Daniel Reyes, Chris McIntosh, Brandon Ramsey, Ramon Meraz, Rubin Rios, Blake Jesters, assistant coach Brett Green, and Tyler Hogg. It was the second first-place tournament win by the Wolverines since Nov. 19.
