KEDC meets today

Improvements and development of three Kilgore industrial areas tops the agenda for the Kilgore Economic Development Corporation (KEDC) board.

The board is scheduled to meet at 3 p.m. today at city hall.

Members are expected to discuss an invoice from Stokes and Associates for surveyor’s field work at North Kilgore Industrial Park. The invoice is for $810.

The board is also expected to consider hauling and handling of dirt removed from 9.22 acres in Kilgore Industrial Park.

Items on the agenda dealing with Synergy Park include discussion of proposed stabilization recommendations for the pier from Adams’ Engineering.

Also on the agenda is the consideration of payment to WRL General Contractors for work in Synergy Park in the amount of $20,619 for earthwork, storm drainage and erosion control.

The board is also expected to consider:

 The annual compliance review of economic development agreement with P&W Sales, Inc.

 The annual compliance review of economic development agreement with Pak-Sher Company, Inc.

 Entering an executive session to discuss economic development negotiations.
