EVA L. MCELHINNEY

Funeral Services for Mrs. Eva L. McElhinney, 90, of Kilgore will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, 2005, in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Kilgore with Rev. David Hampton officiating. Burial will follow in Kilgore Memorial Gardens. Mrs. McElhinney passed away Monday at Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview.

She was born June 26, 1915 in Vandalia, IL. Mrs. McElhinney was member of First Baptist Church in Kilgore where she was a member of Masters Sunday School Class, Primetimers Choir, and Peacekeepers. She will be remembered as a great host and a wonderful cook.

She is preceded in death by her husband Edward Earl McElhinney in 1992.

She is survived by her sons, Edward Earl McElhinney, Jr. of Hesperia, CA., Robert Keith “Bob” McElhinney of Kilgore, David Lee McElhinney of Kilgore; sister, Shirley Plowman of Centralia, IL; brother, Charles and Evelyn Plowman of Decatur, IL; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home Wednesday evening between 6 and 8 p.m.
