ADELL JACKSON
He was born May 16, 1931in Overton to Edgar and Willie Mae Pierce Jackson. He attended Kilgore public schools and graduated from C.B. Dansby High School where he was a member of the football team, attended college for a short time before entering the U.S. Army from 1954 to 1960. The bulk of his adult life was spent with employment at the Fairmont Hotel in Dallas where he worked as a painter. Preceding him in death are his parents and two brothers, James Curtis Sanders and Edgar Jackson, Jr. He is survived by two brothers, Fonzell “Woot” and Mary Jackson of Kilgore, Lee and Evon Jackson of Tyler; two sisters, Betty Reddic of Kilgore, Eva Lois Iles of Dallas, TX; two uncles; two aunts; a special friend; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
