LINDA BALLARD
He was born at Crossroads Community. His parents, Andrew and Gettys Hawkins moved from Georgia to Kilgore in the late 20s. Crossroads was a farming community and the family settled in to a way of life that lasted until Charley Hawkins%27 father was sixty five years old.
