YOUNG-RICE

MR. AND MRS. SHANE DAVID RICE (nee Jennifer Ashley Young) Jennifer Ashley Young, of Milton, Florida, and Shane David Rice, of Kilgore, were married on Aug. 13, 2005 at First Baptist Church in Milton, FL.

Jennifer is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James A. Young Jr., of Milton, FL and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas E. Weekley of Milton, FL. and Mrs. James A. Young of Pensacola, FL.

Shane is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gene W. Rice II, of Kilgore, grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Gene W. Rice, of Iowa Park, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hensley of Oil City, LA., and Mrs. Iris Koehly of Lindale.

Jennifer graduated from Milton High School and went on to receive a B.S. degree in Public Relations from the University of Alabama, as well as a Masters of Divinity and a Masters of Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth. Jennifer will be working as Children's Minister at The Church at Shelby Crossings in Birmingham, AL.

Shane is a graduate of Sabine High School, and received a B.S. degree in Communications Studies from Belmont University in Nashville, TN. He is employed as a mortgage associate with Ameriquest Mortgage Company in Birmingham, AL.

After their honeymoon, the couple will reside in Birmingham, AL.
