Representative Gohmert to speak in Kilgore

U.S. Representative Louis Gohmert (R-Tyler) will be in Kilgore on August 23 to report on the current legislative session and other federal issues of interest to East Texas. Rep.

Gohmert is in his first term as U.S. Representative for the 1st Congressional District of Texas, which includes Kilgore, Longview, Henderson, Marshall, Tyler, and surrounding communities.

The program, sponsored by the Kilgore Chamber of Commerce, will begin at 7:30 a.m. in the Devall Student Center at Kilgore College in Kilgore. Continental breakfast will be served. The public is invited.

“We are grateful that Rep. Gohmert has agreed to take time out of his busy schedule to come to Kilgore and tell us what’s going on in Washington and ask for our input,” said Mike Coston, president of the Kilgore Chamber. We hope a large number of the community will come out for this event and take advantage of this opportunity to visit with our congressman.”
