CLYDE DONALD
Services for Clyde Donald, 80, of Liberty City will be at two p.m., Monday, August 15,2005 at Rader Funeral Home with Reverend W.L. "Bill" Baker officiating. Mr.. Donald died Saturday, August 13, 2005 in Longview, Texas after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Mangrum, Louisiana on December 24,1924 to Floyd T. and Olivia Donald. Mr, Donald married Pauline Campbell of Bastrop, Louisiana in 1944. After his retirement as a Superintendent with Halliburton, he started his own company, Donald Oil Tools, Inc. He was widely known and respected in the East Texas Oilfield. Mr. Donald enjoyed the fellowship and company of his, many friends with whom he worked in the oil industry. He was a longtime member of the Eastview Baptist Church of Kilgore. Mr. Donald was a devoted family man who was loved and cherished by his family and friends. Mr. Donald is survived by his daughter, Diane Donald Willoughby and son-in-law Cliff of Frisco; a son, C.V. "Rick" Donald of Pritchett; a son and daughter -in-law, Randy T. Donald and Bettye of Bryan; two brothers, G.0. Donald of Farmington, NM, Jimmy Donald of Rock Spring, WY; a sister, Bobbie Fallin of Bastrop, LA; eight grandchildren, Michael Shane Donald, Bradley Donald, Stacey Britton, Amanda Willoughby, Terrell Donald, Travis Donald, Trenton Donald, and Audrey Donald: and six great-grand children. His wife, Pauline, his parents, and a son, Mickey Donald, preceded Mr. Donald in death. The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home Sunday evening between six and seven-thirty.
