ACCIDENTS

Unit 1, a 1993 Buick driven by William Calvin Thrash, 701, Layton St., Kilgore was in an accident with Unit 2, a 1999 Dodge driven by Kalynee Rochelle May, 2817 Crestwood Ln., Kilgore. Unit 1 was eastbound in the 600 block of Layton St. Unit 2 was westbound in the 700 block of Layton St. Unit 1 did not see Unit 2 westbound. Unit 1 proceeded to make a left hand turn into his driveway failing to yield right of way to westbound traffic and struck Unit 2. Reported to Officer Greggory McCasland at 12 p.m. on 7/29.

Unit 1, a 1998 Cadillac driven by Evelyn Stephens Hughes, 3110 Hackney St., Longview was attempting to park in a marked space. Driver of Unit 1 applied the accelerator instead of the brake and hit a brick wall. Reported to Officer Dee Brown at 9:58 a.m. on 7/31.
