Services for Jeffery Lance Samford, 44, of Kilgore will be ten a.m., Thursday, August 4, 2005 at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Chris Vidacovich officiating. Lance died Monday, August 1, 2005 in Longview. Lance was born in St. Louis, Missouri on September 16, 1960 to Jessie and Virginia Samford. He served in the National Guard, and was a member of the Chandler Street Church of Christ. He loved to sing country and most people knew him as Lancer in the opry houses and venues. His parents precede him in death. Lance is survived by his wife Loree Baird Samford of Kilgore; two daughters Surrena Jean Samford and Miranda Nicole Samford both of Longview; sister Cynthia Jolley of Longview; two half brothers Jason and Mark McNeil both of Longview; beloved extended family Kyle, Linda, Laura, Travis Perkins all of Kilgore, Lanea, Victor, Lashea Cope all of White Oak, LaRea and Danielle Fallis both of Longview; many loving friends and church members. Mr. Waldrop died Monday, Aug. 1, 2005 in Tyler, Texas. He is survived by his wife; a daughter; a son; a brother; five grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members. River passed away Aug. 1, 2005. WILMA J. LITTON Graveside services for Wilma J. Litton, 76 of Krugerville, formerly of Kilgore, were Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Kilgore City Cemetery in Kilgore. Ms. Litton died Sunday, July 31, 2005 at Presbyterian Hospital in Denton. She is survived by two brothers. DeBerry Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
