GOOD YEAR, BRAVES!

Submitted photo The 10-year-old Braves of the Kilgore Boys Baseball Association (pictured above) came home with two first-place trophies this season, finishing their regular season with a 15-2 record, and went undefeated in the end-of-season tournament. Some members of the Braves, including coach Donald Jackson, went on to represent KBBA well in the 10-year-old district tournament, falling just short of reaching the state tournament. Members of the Braves were Juan “Bubba” Reyes, Jake Jordan, Lyle Preston, Seth Williams, Narcio Amaro, Ryan Reinart, Jackson Mehringer, Donald Jackson III, Clint Case, Ricky Hendrix, Lucas Sprague and De’Quaynia Brewster. Assisting Jackson were coaches Vic Williams, Grey Mehringer and David Case.
