PATRICIA CRUMP MEYERS

Memorial service for Patricia Crump Meyers, 46, of Farmers Branch was held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 15, 2005 at Phillips Funeral Home, 1835 Pearl St., Carrollton with Pastor Neale Oliver of First Baptist Church of Whitewright officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home. Mrs. Meyers died July 12, 2005 after a long illness.

She is survived by her mother; father; brother; step-brothers; one step-sister; seven nephews and nieces.

Services for Charlie Jefferson, 90 of Mt. Enterprise are pending with Southern Funeral Home in Henderson. Mr. Jefferson died Tuesday, July 5, 2005 at Henderson Health Rehab Center in Henderson.

GLORIA DEAN LACY

Services for Gloria Dean Lacy, 70, of Garland were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 16, 2005 at Jenkins Memorial CME Church in Henderson with Revs. Nathaniel Jones and Johnny Washington. Burial was set in Beaver Spring Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Henderson. Mrs. Lacy died Saturday, July 8, 2005 at Baylor Medical Center in Garland.

She is survived by one son; one daughter; four sisters; four brothers; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a host of nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers were Ezzard Brown, Virgil Lacy, Jerome Lacy, Charles Lacy, Frank Moss and Mark Lacy.

Honorary pallbearers were Charles Lacy, Mark Lacy, Carl Brager, George Lacy and Dexter Lacy.

Services for Brenda Joyce Starling Medford, 64, of Greenville, formerly of Rusk county, were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 16, 2005 at Union Spring Baptist Church in Mt. Enterprise with Evangelist Ruby Greer, Revs. Robert Lane and J.W. Johnson. Burial followed in Hall Cemetery in Mt. Enterprise under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Henderson. Mrs. Medford died Wednesday, July 6, 2005 in Greenville.

She is survived by two sons; four daughters; one brother; 14 grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers were Byron Medford, Willie Clark, Anthony Mims, Hick Mims, James Ruth, Brian Townsend, Jessie Lewis and Nicholus Mims.

Honorary pallbearers Cleaven Nobles, Calvin Greer, Rayland O’quinn, Charles Medford, Kevin Wider, Larry McDowell and Jamie O’quinn.

JESSIE BELLE JONES

Funeral services for Jessie Belle Jones of Kilgore were set for Saturday, July 16, 2005 at 11 a.m. in Harmony Pirtle Baptist Church with Revs. Carlos Whitaker and Billy Medlock officiating. Burial followed in Pirtle Cemetery under the direction of Stanmore Funeral Home. Miss Jones died Thursday, July 7, 2005.

She is survived by her church; family; and a host of nieces and nephews.

JUANITA NORENE

(COOPER) MUNTZEL

Services for Juanita Norene (Cooper) Muntzel were held Saturday, 3:30 p.m. at Porter Loring North Chapel, 2102 North Loop 1604 East with the Rev. Joe Walts officiating. Internment to follow at a later date in Restland Memorial Park in Dallas. Arrangements were under the direction of Porter Loring Mortuary North in San Antonio. Mrs. Muntzel passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2005 after a short hospital stay in San Antonio, TX.

She is survived by her husband; three children; two grandchildren; one great– grandchild; one sister.
