MRS. WILLIAM BRYAN BEAVERS
(nee Teri Lynn Salmon)
Teri Lynn Salmon of Frisco and
William Bryan Beavers Jr. of
Richardson were united with a
double-ring, candlelight ceremony
at 2 p.m. June 25, 2005 in
Forest Home Baptist Church by
Rev. Scott Ward.
The bride is the daughter of
Bill and Pat Salmon of Kilgore.
Her grandparents are Rev. and
Mrs. A.F. Sanders of Crockett
and the late Mr. and Mrs. H.T.
Salmon.
The groom is the son of Cherie
Beavers of Richardson. Grandparents
are Mrs. Margaret Peacock
of Dallas and the late Floyd
Peacock.
The altar was decorated with
an arch candelabra with two urns
on each side filled with lilies,
glades, hydrangeas and dendro
orchids. Spiral candelabras along
with the unity candle added to
the decor. The aisle was lined
with ivy and white toile.
Special Music was provided by
Chad Sepulveda of Bryan who
sang "A Page is Turned" while accompanying
himself on the guitar
during the seating of the families.
During the lighting of the
unity candle, he sang "I Will be
Here" accompanied by Lynn Silvey
of Joaquin on the piano. Organist
Andy Swanner of Madison,
MS provided the bridal processional
and recessional.
The bride was given in marriage
by her father, Bill Salmon.
The bride wore an ivory, silky,
satin gown with silver thread, accent
beads and crystals. Beautiful
swirl and flower motifs were
hand-embroidered and beaded
along the hemline. The multipleat
back skirt gave fullness to
the semi-cathedral train. Heavilybeaded
waistline and strapless
neckline define the bodice which
was elaborately beaded, giving
the gown a regal look. The bride
wore a delicate tiara with rhinestones
and crystals accenting the
piece. The cathedral length veil
was lined with accent bugle
beads. The hand-tied bridal bouquet
consisted of white vendela
roses.
The maid of honor was Laura
Salmon, sister of the bride, of
College Station.
Bridesmaids were Jamie Haddock
of Waco, Kristen Karrh of
Plano, Kendra Killingsworth
of Dallas, Natalie Swanick of
McKinney.
The best man was Ryan Stege
of Dallas.
Groomsmen were Josh Arnold
of Dallas, Brad Blalock of Rockwall,
Mark Killingsworth of Dallas,
Josh Masonheimer of Breckenridge.
Ushers were Trenton Williams
of College Station, Brad McConkey of Dallas, Todd Mitchell
of Abilene.
A reception was held June 25 at
Meadowbrook Country Club in
Kilgore.
The bride's book was a handmade
cover created for the bride
by bridesmaid,
Kristen Karrh. The bride's
table was adorned with a candelabra
centerpiece and
pink and white rose petals with
Janae Salmon of Allen attending.
The reception provided an hors
d'oeuvres buffet which was highlighted
with a center arrangement
of dendro orchids, calicina,
glades and hydrangeas. Each individual
guest table was decorated
with a floral arrangement of
an assortment of hydrangeas, orchids,
pink and white roses.
Members of the houseparty
were Ellen Salmon of Allen,
Sharon Gipson of Rowlett,
Kathryn Mitchell of Abilene,
Michelle Lamm of Plano, Monica
Calderon of Arlington.
The bride's table was draped in
ecru taffeta and organza with a
floral lavender overlay. The elegant
four-tier white Romantic
Fantasy bride's cake was decorated
with richly-textured scroll designs
and was adorned with
hand-rolled white ribbon roses.
The groom's table provided
guests with a two-layer chocolate
cake iced in a basket weave design
decorated with red grapes and
chocolate covered strawberries.
Lynn Silvey of Joaquin, and
Andy Swanner of Madison, MS.,
provided love songs for guest
through music on the piano at
the reception.
The honeymoon trip was to
Playa del Carmen, Mexico
The newlyweds resides in
Frisco.
The bride graduated from Baylor
University with a Bachelor of
Science in Education and a Master's
Degree in Counseling received
from Texas A&M-Commerce.
She is currently employed
as a school counselor in Frisco
ISD.
The groom graduated from
Hardin-Simmoms University
with a Bachelor of Business Administration.
He is currently employed
as an account executive
for Cirro Energy in Plano.
An engagement party was held
for the couple Feb. 12 in
Richardson by the groom’s family.
Family and friends enjoyed
desserts and finger foods in celebration
of the couple’s engagement.
Couples were invited to honor
the bride and groom in the home
of Yvonne White April 2 with a
“Honey-do” shower.
Mary Roberson, Patricia Aurbach,
Kathryn and Todd
Mitchell, and Yvonne
White were the hostesses for
the party and everyone enjoyed a
hamburger cookout
A bridal shower honoring the
bride was given in the home of
Joan Light of Kilgore April 23
with Lynn Silvey of Joaquin as
hostess.
Guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres
and punch.
Teri Salmon was feted with a
bridal shower April 30 in Dallas.
Hostesses for the event were
Cheryl Chanslor, Susie
Marsteller, Reyna McMillon,
Sharon Darwin and Cheree’ Barrett.
Friends and family attended.
The bride was honored with a
miscellaneous bridal shower May
14 in Kilgore by the ladies of
Stone Ridge Baptist Church.
Cake and punch were provided
The couple were honored with
a wedding shower May 19 in
Frisco given by Wester Middle
School.
Guests included the faculty of
Wester Middle School.
Close and personal friends of
the bride were invited to attend a
lingerie shower June 11 in McKinney.
The shower was in the home of
Natalie Swanick of McKinney
with Kendra Killingsworth,
of Dallas as the hostess.
The couple were feted with a
rehearsal dinner given by the
groom’s family June 24 at Meadowbrook
Country Club.
Wedding party, family and
friends were invited to attend.
