Kilgore high school honor graduates

Josh Wood is the son of Barbara and Jim Wood. He plans to attend Southern Methodist University and major in engineering. He class valedictorian, was vice president of National Honor Society, received the Kilgore College leadership award, and Rotary Scholar athlete.
Lindsey King is the daughter of Randy and Tina King. She plans to attend the University of Texas-Austin (school of communications) and major in advertising. She is the class salutatorian, a three-year member of Hi-Steppers, serving as a lieutenant in 2005, a member of National Honor Society and Citizens Bank student board.
Kristin White is the daughter of Billy and Penny White. She plans to attend the University of Texas-Austin (school of communications) and her major is undecided at this time. She is ranked third in her class, is a four-year member of Hi-Steppers, a member of National Honor Society and Citizens Bank student board.
Micki Cunyus is the daughter of Bruce and Patti Cunyus. She plans to attend Texas Christian University and she undecided on a major at this time. She is a four-year Regional qualifier in tennis, 2003 District Champion, 2004 District runner-up, third place at Regionals, All-Region, All-District, 2005 District Champ, 2005 Regional Champ, 2005 State qualifier. She is a member of National Honor Society, serves as parliamentarian on the NHS, a member of Student Council and Anchor Club. She is a Rotary scholar athlete, Student of the Month, honor graduate and has won the KC Leadership award.
Madison Gill is the daughter of Ronnie and Simone Gill. She plans to attend Texas Christian University and major in dentistry. She is a four-year first team All-District tennis honoree, four-year Regional qualifier, 2005 District champion, 2005 Regional champion, 2005 state qualifier, four-year KHS cheerleader, two-year NCA-All American cheerleader. She served as senior class vice president, was an Anchor Club senior representative, member of the Reflector staff, member of National Honor Society, member of Citizens Bank student board. She was class favorite for three years, four-year most beautiful nominee and homecoming princess.
Katy Nail is the daughter of Kenny and Cathy Nail. She plans to attend Baylor University and major in education. She was a high school band twirler for four years and drum major for two years. She served as National Honor Society president, is a top ten graduate, Texas scholar and received the DAR Good Citizen award.
Jacki Hein is the daughter of John and Lee Ann Hein. She plans to attend Kilgore College and then transfer to UT-Tyler and major in physical therapy. She was a member of the flag corp for three years and served as flag captain her senior year. She was a member of National Honor Society, band for four years, won 1st division at solo/ensemble and has attended state contest for the past two years.
Brandon Conner is the son of Virgel and Gail Conner. He plans to attend the University of Texas at Austin and major in finance, economics or ornamental horticulture. He was a regional finalist on the fall tennis team, a member of National Honor Society and a member of All-Region orchestra for two years. He once pulled his pants down during an English presentation to do a “brief” biography.
Laura Perkins is the daughter of Kyle and Linda Perkins. The plans to attend University of Texas at Austin and major in civil engineering. She is a Rotary Youth Leadership award winner, a four-year member of basketball and softball, president of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and a member of Citizens Bank student board.
Robyn Gates is the daughter of David and Joni Gates. She plans to attend the Unversity of North Texas and major in business management an entrepreneurship. She was a mentor, a member of Citizens Bank student board, band president and sweetheart.
