Funeral services for Oba Beatrice Elder, 91, of Glendale, AZ. formerly of Kilgore, were 1 p.m., Saturday, April 16, 2005 at Mt. Zion CME Church with Rev. A.R. Mayfield officiating. Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Victory Funeral Services. Services were held in Arizona on Saturday, April 9, 2005 under the direction of Preston Funeral Home of Phoenix. Mrs. Elder died April 6, 2005. She is survived by two sons; four daughters; five sisters; one aunt; 23 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; nine great-great grand children; a number of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
