      The Kilgore College men’s basketball team lost Wednesday for just the second time this season, as they prepare for Region XIV Conference play. And the KC Lady Rangers won the first game of the night on Wednesday, also preparing for what should be a good game later today in Carthage.

Kilgore’s Castles, CHS gets shot at Marshall
      A Kilgore High School graduate will now get his shot at the Marshall Mavericks. Phil Castles, the son of David and K Castles of Kilgore, is the head football coach and athletic director at Corsicana, whose Tigers were to face Marshall in the area round of the UIL’s Class 4A playoffs Friday night at Rose Stadium in Tyler.
